  • Login with your TU/e username, not mailaddress,
    unless agreed otherwise.


notebook session and data expiry...

  • Your notebook session will be terminated:
    • after 2 hours of inactivity.
    • between 05:00 - 07:00 AM,
      when reboots are needed after installing updates.

  • Your data is available on this server until the end of your course.

performance...

  • Since February 3rd 2023, we allow more CPU utilization per session.

    Short jobs such as starting a session will run faster and take less time.
    They usually do not have to compete for CPU time, even with a group of participants.

    Long jobs may have to compete for CPU time if more of them are running,
    as will happen if several participants start them.
    In that case, they will not always run faster.


Sign in with your TU/e account
For most courses, enter your username,
not mailaddress.

For those who forgot their username:
If your laptop is in the TUE-domain, you can get your username from the UPN, which is your mailaddress.

This can be done from cmd using this command: dsquery user -UPN a.b.name@tue.nl -o samid
